Happy Thankful Thursday!

I’ve had a little play around in the living room and warmed it up a bit for the cooler weather, which is always fun.

This week I am thankful for:-

1. Making some more progress in our patio renovation. This weekend we hope to finish the demolition and then we can start putting it all together.
2. Getting to look after Em and Mitch’s furbaby Artie for a few days while they were away celebrating their first anniversary 🤎 He’s so cute 😻
3. Going to the movies with my bestie, we have not been in ages!!
4. Doing all the housework and then having some time to relax and read.
5. My cute office. I love working in there and looking into the front garden.

Its Thankful Thursday again. Boy that does come around quickly doesn’t it?

My climbing rose heading into the fire area is getting close to the top and its flowering 👏👏

We (Tony 🙃) have been busy with the patio renovation. There will be demolition this coming weekend along with some gap filling etc to get everything ready for painting. Im pretty excited for it. We’ve been waiting a few years for this one. Hoping it will be finished ready for spring but these things can drag on. Especially when you have trades to schedule.

Anyway this week I am grateful for:-

1. A surprise visit from my girl🥰🥰
2. Tony working his butt off this week
3. A lovely slow day in front of the fire
4. Stitching with my bestie 🫶
5. A fabulous facial - Em does the best facials - I always have to come home for a nap!!!🤎🤎

Happy Thankful Thursday! Im really looking forwar

Happy Thankful Thursday! Im really looking forward to spending some time out here this weekend. This is definitely my favourite time of the year to be outside. There’s a slight chill in the air which is so exciting after such a hot summer👏👏

This week I am thankful for:-

1. A fantastic trip to Tenterfield;
2. Spending some time cleaning the house and getting things back in order;
3. Tony getting some more work done on the outdoor patio;
4. Having the opportunity to get to Brisbane to see my FIL while he was in hospital❤️
5. Getting some cooking and baking done. I love cooking up a big lot of mince and using half for spaghetti bog and half for lasagne. Two meals from one. Then Woollies accidentally delivered me an extra lot of bananas so I made banana bread and tried making banana butter which was pretty good I must say🙌
6. Finishing a jigsaw.

Today Im heading to my besties for stitching day. Hope you can fit in something you love to do today.

Thankful Thursday is coming to you from Tenterfield this week. This pic is taken in the backyard of the place we’re staying!!! It’s stunning 👏. I’ll share some more of it later.

This week Im grateful for:

1. The opportunity to get away with friends to somewhere so beautiful and have some fun.
2. Michael and Mitch for helping Tony do the roof of the pergola. It would never have gotten done as quickly without them.
3. Catching up with an old school friend I hadn’t seen in a long time❤️❤️
4. Spending some time shopping with Em.
5. Babysitting our little fur grandbaby for a few days 🐈‍⬛

Happy Thankful Thursday!💗

I thought this little girl deserved a permanent place on the grid. She was such a sweet thing who loved to talk to me all day long. She came to us with cat flu and not eating but went back free of the flu and eating all of her food every day (turns out she liked company when she ate🥰) It was hard to take her back this week, each foster takes a little bit of my heart with them 😥

This week I am grateful for:-

1. Having Sunday breakfast with Emy and Mitch;
2. Catching up with a work friend for breakfast;
3. Going op shopping with some friends in Brisbane;
4. Being the model for a lovely facial;
5. Lunch with my bestie;

Made with the most beautiful toile fabric and finished with a pleated frill (which took way longer than expected).

They are beautiful though, don’t you think? Just don’t look too closely 😉

Happy Thankful Thursday! I have had an awesome week this week. It’s been filled with big and small things and I enjoyed every moment.

This week I’m grateful for:-

1. A night of chair dancing and singing with @humannaturelive. Love these guys so much and always buy tickets when they come to the Coast.
2. A visit with my Dad and Wendy in Ballina with Tony and my girl for brunch.
3. A fun day out with Tony and my bestie to see a fabulous Dolly Parton tribute show.
4. Finally seeing the floor in the garage. Still a little bit more to do but definitely making headway.
5. Getting my cushions finished. This was a monumental task for someone with average sewing skills BUT I did it - won’t do it again though 🤣
6. Sophie got the all clear on her cat flu and is back with us for another week.
