Step 1: Starting with the Basics
The foundation of this look begins with a lush green tree. After ensuring the lights are all working for a warm glow, it’s time to build layers of beauty with ribbons, flowers, and ornaments.
Step 2: Adding Large Champagne-Coloured Ribbons
To create depth and a sense of movement, I’ve added large champagne-colored ribbons throughout the tree. These are tucked randomly into the branches, giving the tree a whimsical, cascading effect. The soft shimmer of the ribbon perfectly complements the overall palette, catching the light beautifully.
Step 3: Vertical Pearl Strands and Bow Accents
Instead of weaving pearl strands through the branches, I’ve placed them vertically, allowing them to drape elegantly from the top to the bottom. To elevate this look, I’ve attached pearl bows at random points along the strands. These delicate accents add texture and charm, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
Step 4: Incorporating Florals and Champagne Bows
Large white and champagne coloured flowers have been nestled into the branches, adding a lush, sophisticated feel. Alongside them, I’ve added champagne bows adorned with gorgeous pearl jewels in the centre. These bows add a touch of glamour while tying the floral elements together seamlessly.
Step 5: Clear Teardrop Decorations for a Touch of Sparkle
Scattered throughout the tree are clear teardrop decorations, adding an ethereal sparkle. These ornaments catch the light in the most magical way, complementing the pearl and champagne tones and giving the tree a delicate, frosted look.
Step 6: The Finishing Touches: Angel Tree Topper and Updated Tree Collar
At the top of the tree stands a stunning white angel, bringing a traditional and heartfelt element to the design. Surrounding the base is my updated tree collar, which I painted in a warm copper tone and trimmed with pearls. This detail ties the entire tree together, making it feel cohesive and complete.
This year’s tree decor is a celebration of timeless elegance, blending soft champagne hues, delicate florals, and sparkling details. Each element has been thoughtfully chosen to create a tree that feels warm, inviting, and a little bit magical.
