Happy Thankful Thursday everyone! Sorry I’m a bit late. I got into cleaning and forgot what day it was 🤪

We’ve had another weekend getting some work done on the patio but also slipped in some fun. This week I am grateful for:-

1. An overdue catch up with a friend.
2. Evie coming back to spend another week with us unfortunately her adoption fell through but she got spoilt with lots of cuddles with us.
3. Having a yummy dinner out with Dad and Wendy and a couple of friends.
4. A burger board shared with friends catching up by the fire and then going through travel pics - always fun.
5. Emy and Mitch calling in for a catch up ( love these little surprises🤎🤎)
6. Getting our wall finished after a monumental effort on Sunday.
7. A nice long chat with my bestie.
8. Being able to get groceries delivered🙌

Our backyard transformation has been underway for

Our backyard transformation has been underway for a while now.

We kicked things off with the pool deck — adding a new BBQ, a cosy little dining spot, and waterproof blinds to keep everything protected when storms roll in.

We’re now working on the bar + games area out the back, and we’ve decided to carry our black, grey, white and green colour scheme from the front yard through the whole outdoor space to tie it all together.

I’m really loving watching it all come together. Remember good things take time, especially when you’re doing a lot of the work yourself.

We gave this sweet little antique wall cupboard a freshen-up for our entryway — perfect for key storage. All it needed was a light sand (don’t forget to protect the mirror!) and it was ready to shine again. This was a dump shop purchase so inexpensive as well as cute!!

Simple projects like this are my favourite — useful and beautiful 💛

Happy Thankful Thursday everyone. Its been another big week of work on the outdoor area which has been great. This week I am grateful for:-

1. Michael coming and helping Tony get the wall done. It looks so good.!
2. A quick visit with my girl🥰
3. A visit from Dad and Wendy.
4. Getting a great deal on a fridge for the patio
5. Getting our tiles delivered.
6. Our electrician fitting us in so we could get the wall fitted out ready to close up this weekend.

We’ve got another productive weekend coming up. With a friends catch up (hopefully out by the fire if the weather co operates) and then another day of work on the patio. Hope you all have some fun plans and some get things done plans. Its nice to have a balance.

Receiving the gorgeous ceramic home sign from @hel

Receiving the gorgeous ceramic home sign from @hello_little_house spurred me on to give the front entry a bit of a refresh. I started by painting the shutters Dulux Monument (the colour of the deck). They were white and I found it hard to keep them looking their best. I LOVE the change. We also replaced the white Adirondack chairs as they fell apart. I wanted a table so I could have a cuppa in the sun. As the cabin is to be renovated we decided to use the tables and chairs from the deck and I added some @willowhomeliving cushions.

This space didn’t need much done to it but it feels fresh and inviting again. Ready for spring to bring flowers and lots of green growth. What do you think??

I had the pleasure of working with Sam from @hello

I had the pleasure of working with Sam from @hello_little_house to create an installation video for her beautiful ceramic home signs. The whole process was very easy using the supplied template, a cordless drill, some wall plugs and screws, and a level.

I can’t wait to share all the styled shots of the front area now.

If you’ve followed me for a while you will know that I’m a sucker for anything personalised and I think these signs would make a perfect house warming gift or wedding present. Make sure you head to Sam’s page so you can check out her website. There are so many beautiful styles and colours to choose from. The design process is very easy and Sam is there if you need any advice or assistance.

Happy Thankful Thursday everyone😍

It’s been a really great week and I’m very grateful
for:-

1. Catching up with Dad and Wendy before I had to take little Evie back. She needed to come back and stay with us for a few extra days.
2. A nice visit with Tony’s dad.
3. Some shopping at Ikea - haven’t been there in such a long time. I picked up the sage green arm chair cover in the pic for a little change.
4. A late afternoon cuppa with my SIL & BIL.
5. My bestie meeting me for an early breakfast so I wouldn’t be sad after dropping off little Evie.
6. An overdue catch up with an old work colleague.
7. Having some pampering time with my Emy
8. Having a quick visit with my Dad.

I hope your week has been filled with time spent doing some things that you really love.

Happy Thankful Thursday!

Some shots of Em’s kitchen. Another quick, cost effective makeover.

This week I am grateful for:-

1. Making some progress with the back patio.
2. Seeing Emy and Mitch on the weekend.
3. Catching a movie with my bestie.
4. Getting some EOFY work done.
5. Spending some quality cuddle time with Evie.
6. Having some time to make a list of all the things Tony and I would like to do in Singapore.

Today I’m catching up with my bestie for stitching and to compare lists of activities for Singapore so we can get some things booked and then plan our itinerary. Do you do an itinerary for your holidays???
