Decorating for Easter

Decorating for Easter is not a massive thing in our house. I honestly don’t have the storage space to do too much. As our dining table is in the family room where we spend a lot of time I usually decorate that with seasonal items. My tiered tray is also decorated for the different seasons. A new Easter wreath was hung in the kitchen as the finishing touch.

These things just added enough Easter vibes to celebrate the season

I also used my new Cricut Maker to make two new items for decorating for easter. One was bunting for the window behind the table and the other was an Easter sign.

I’ll link the items I can below:-

The rest of the items came from TK Max

I also found a great wreath at Bed Bath N Table together with an easter sign that I put with it.

MAKING THE BUNTING

I was lucky enough to find the timber bunting in a closing down sale for $5 which was a great bargain. My Cricut Maker did the rest. Luckily the bunting had enough space to spell out Easter – winning!!!!

I didn’t want to buy any new products for this project so went through what I had and chose pink green and blue which matched in with the colours I was using for Easter.

Next step was to find the font that I wanted to use in Design Space. I chose nice thick lettering that also had some cut outs for interest.

Once the Cricut Maker cuts out the lettering you then use the weeding tool to remove the excess vinyl. Then it was simply a matter of sticking the letters on to each triangle using the Transfer sticker.

I was really happy with the finished product and the colours did fit well with my other Easter decor.

DECORATING MY TIERED TRAY FOR EASTER

I love decorating my tiered tray for the seasons. The beautiful pastel colours out for Easter make for a lovely display.

I found some great pieces at Bed Bath N Table and TK Maxx.

MAKING AN EASTER SIGN

I also made an easter sign using my Cricut Machine and design space. I found the sign at Spotlight and again just used my vinyl supplies to print the elements I wanted. Very simple project but I really love how it turned out.

Hope you enjoyed my little bit of Easter decorating. If you want some baking inspiration have a look at this post for 5 Quick Easter Baking ideas.
