Our Christmas Table for 2024!

This year, my Christmas table is all about blending homemade charm with elegant touches! ✨

Hanging above the table is an over-the-table rod adorned with green garlands, my DIY pearly orbs, pearl strands, and glass baubles 🌿💫

The table itself is set with a crisp white tablecloth as the foundation. Each place setting includes:
💛 Gold charger plates
🤍 White dinner plates
💛 Mustard-coloured plates for a pop of festive warmth
✨ My mum’s gifted gold cutlery (a treasure!)
🥂 Matching gold glasses to add a bit of sparkle

Adding a personal touch, I’ve included my homemade gift boxes and updated Christmas crackers at each setting – because who doesn’t love a little surprise during dinner? 🎁✨

This setup brings together everything I love about Christmas: family, creativity, and a whole lot of joy. ❤️

6. Grabbing last minute things for the trip and getting the packing finished with the exception of the carry on items👏👏✈️

This year has been the year of the upgrade for my Christmas Decorations. I found these lovely gift tags @TKMaxx but didn’t love the black ribbon or the fact that they didn’t have any bronze colours on them. Easy fix though with some new ribbon, a bronze pen and some stick on pearls.

Now they look perfect under the tree!!!

Happy Thankful Thursday!

Its been another good week here in the Kelly Household. I’ve been getting my Christmas and Holiday prep done as well as taking time to relax and enjoy the process. Its been such a different experience this year and I’m loving it. I’m going to set my Christmas table in the next day or so as we wont need to use the table between now and Christmas so that will be a time saver and I can’t wait to share it.

This week I’m thankful for:-

1. A fabulous Christmas catchup with the Lockharts, always a fun time with lots of laughs and full bellys🙌
2. Morning tea catch up with friends talking all things travel🧳
3. Morning tea with my girl watching Beverly Hills Housewives, catching up and eating❤️❤️❤️
4. Lots of cuddles with little Mouse before we had to take him back🐈‍⬛🥰
5. Tony taking time off work to come with me when we took Mouse back. Fostering is a tough gig - we fall in love with each little one we take on. One of the lovely ladies in the foster group said she looks at it as their graduation day, we have done everything we can to get them ready to be adopted and once they get that health tick they have graduated. I really liked that🥰🥰

Hope you’re all trying to get in some relaxing time before Christmas and the busyness that comes with it.
