Easy Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding
Easy chocolate self saucing pudding is the perfect dessert for when you want something chocolatey and comforting, but don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The best part is that it takes just minutes to put together, and the oven does all the work! Plus, who can resist a warm chocolate pudding with a gooey sauce on top? I know I can’t. So if you’re looking for an easy dessert that will impress your friends and family, give this self saucing pudding a try. You won’t regret it!
The Ingredients
The ingredients for an easy chocolate self saucing pudding are fairly basic and should be found in your pantry with the exception of the dark chocolate. If you don’t have any dark chocolate just omit it and use 45 grams of butter instead of 25 grams.
Use a good quality Dutch cocoa as this is the basis of the flavour of the pudding.
Make sure to be gentle when you pour the boiling water over the pudding mix so it doesn’t just pour in one spot and make a big hole in the pudding mix. Gentle pour over the back of a spoon and move over the whole pudding.
Serving this divine pudding
You must serve this pudding straight from the oven! Sprinkle the top with icing sugar (powdered sugar).
Dollop cream or ice cream is the perfect accompaniment. Personally I love to serve it with canned reduced fat cream. Don’t judge until you try it its so delicous😂
This easy chocolate pudding recipe is definitely a winner in my book. The best part is that it takes just minutes to put together. So if you’re looking for an easy dessert that will impress your friends and family, this one is definitely worth trying. What’s your favourite easy dessert?
